Channel 4’s Dispatches series recently aired an update to their original undercover report on systematic “extremist” within Britain’s mosques.
After viewing the program I’m left a little bit disappointed in Channel 4’s sincerity on key Islamic teachings. Again and again they state that the “extremist” views are imported for the Saudi (Wahhabism) interpretation of the Koran.
The narrator says “the worshippers, many of whom are children or teenagers are being taught the Saudi Arabian interpretation of Sharia law”. Sorry Channel 4, you’re reporting a lie – the universal view of death for apostasy is accepted throughout the Muslim world (and the highest authorities on Islam), this is not an “extremist” Saudi Arabian “interpretation” – this is Islam. It’s quite comical Channel 4 assumes authority over Saudi Arabian on the interpretation of the Koran. The fact is Saudi Arabia is THE authority on Islam.
I’m not sure if the narrator is also implying that wanting to instate an Islamic government is an “incorrect”, “extremist” interpretation (imported from Saudi Arabia) but this too is a fallacy. It is indeed a key aspect of Islamic ideology to make the world “submit” to Allah.
As much as I despise the satanic indoctrination rife in Saudi Arabian education and society it’s quite humorous for Channel 4 to assert it knows the true interpretation of Islam over that of the nation that has implemented Islamic ideology since practically the days of the Islamic prophet, Muhammad himself.
The lesson by the teacher on non-Muslim “infidels” (or more cutely “kafir”) friendships is based on a verse in the Koran, 5:51:
“O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors (over the Muslims): They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily God guideth not a people unjust.”
Is this verse wrong? Wouldn’t that imply that Allah is infallible – thus invalidating the very premise of the Koran itself?
How long will the British public put up with these apologetic lies? It appears Britain doesn’t influence Islam (and as per the Koran that would be sinful), but Islam influences Britain. I seriously worry what direction Britain is going in and I sincerely believe it’s the wrong one ultimately resulting in disaster.
